Biography

Adrián González Baquero is a composer and music producer specialising in music for media. He trained in classical composition and completed a master's degree in scoring for film and video games, where he began working with directors and independent studios.

His work spans feature films, short films, TV series, documentaries and advertising campaigns. He writes and produces in his Madrid studio and records with musicians and orchestras when a project calls for it, delivering everything from the first mock-up to the final mix and stems.

Alongside this, he is building his own catalogue for sync licensing and a live show for piano, electronics and string quartet.

He sees music as part of the storytelling. Before writing a single note, he works through the script and the edit with the director to decide where music should play, where silence works better, and what each cue needs to say that the picture cannot say on its own.

His sound starts from the piano and writing for strings, and is completed with synthesizers, electronic textures and field recordings. For video games he writes adaptive music in FMOD and Wwise, built in layers that change with what the player does.

He has worked with production companies, agencies and independent studios on projects released at festivals, on television, on streaming platforms and in national campaigns. He works in Spanish and English and follows each project from the first meeting to the final mix to picture.
